I took these photos on a Nikon film SLR camera and enlarged them myself. Such a fun process. I love film photography.

Christchurch Re-start

A new pop-up mall in Cashel street, Christchurch.

Shipping containers holding high end fashion and gift stores as well as two double story cafes.

We went to the opening day which was quite exciting, i hadn't actually been that close to the CBD since before the earthquake. Can't wait to do some shopping when theres a few lass people around!

Christchurch

A logo i designed for a Christchurch rebranding project- "Change, Choice, Charm" is to replace the current "Garden City" to create an uplifting and unique feel to Christchurch after the earthquake. The logo symbolizes the coming together of christchurch and draws from shapes found in Gothic Architecture.

Yay theres a new cafe on the block! Right across the road from tech on Madras street is Black Betty's. I feel we are going to be here ALOT this year. I had a cranberry and pistachio slice it was yummy :)

D.I.Y

Got a bit bored today after school so i popped down to the supermarket picked up a couple of streaking kit boxes and ombred my hair! Im pretty happy with the outcome and how light the ends got although i did do 3 applications, i'm surprised it hasn't snapped. It does have a bit of a brassy colour to it i presume from previous dyes so i'm going to apply a toner to it tomorrow and maybe a bit more bleach to the very tips to create more of a contrast. Its fun to have a change every so often and i can always dye it back as soon as i get sick of it.
